Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a lot of you will already know my partner Hayden lost his dad Tony to Motor Neurone Disease last September.  Tony was a huge influence on my life and I owe him so much.  There are many people, who were lucky enough to have known Tony, that feel the same way and we all miss him terribly.

On May 25th I’ll be taking part in the Hadrian Hundred - a 100 mile walking event to be completed in 48 hours - in Tony’s memory and to raise much needed funds for the MND association.  The walk is a circular route starting and finishing in Hexham, passing through some of the best features of Northumberland, County Durham and Cumbria, taking in sections of Hadrians Wall, the South Tyne Trail, Pennine Way, a traverse of Cross Fell, High Cup Nick, the remote moorland of Upper Teasdale and Weardale with the Allendale Valley back to Hexham - I must be mad!!

I hope to raise £1000 for the MND association to help them in their fight to find a cure for the disease and to stop many other families going through what we have been through.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. The preparations continue for my 100 mile walk in May. In Ipswich today for the Daffodil Dawdle - a 26 miles walk in the Suffolk countryside. Thank you to everyone that has made a donation so far. I’m a quarter of the way to my target amount of £1000 for MNDA.
